Happy Thanksgiving!

We took a short urban hike around the Emeryville Marina… happy to get our blood pumping before we went to eat dinner! I was hoping to see more birds, but oh well! Hundreds and hundreds of lesser scaup were the highlight of the walk! It can be asy to overlook all of the waders… the longer I looked out at the water, the more black dots I would see! The group photos I see graphically, and I’m excited to get one of them printed very large for my wall! I parked by the fire station and walked up towards East Ocean and then back around the marina.
