No Owls Today!
We took a walk at Cesar Chavez Park today because I read this interesting article online about the burrowing owls and I wanted to go check it out. I hadn’t been there since I used to have my dog so it was nostalgic and brought back a lot of memories.
It was nearly dark, gray, and dismal already when we arrived, super cloudy, but no wind. Went to find the protected owl area and saw some gulls, ducks, and a great blue heron on the way.
Didn’t see any owls tonight but I definitely want to go back soon and try again!
