First Visit to Elsie Roemer Bird Sanctuary

We stopped by the Elsie Roemer Bird Sanctuary at the end of Alameda Beach over the weekend, hung out on the birding deck. I didn’t have too much time, and it was super overcast and gray, but 30 minutes was enough to see a great diversity of birds!

Couldn’t help myself but bring along my favorite pistachio old fashioned from Donut Petit, IYKYK! I’m determined to find and photograph all of the birds!

When I got home I noticed a killdeer flying with the flock so I’m including it in my list, but I have yet to photograph it on its own.
