Weekend Hike at Lake Temescal
Took advantage of the nice weekend weather and went on a hike at Lake Temescal. We did the regular loop, then near the end by the beach, took a sharp right turn and headed down the path to explore. It led us back to the other parking lot near Broadway Terrace… oops. So we headed back via the upper trail. Never hiked up there before, glad we finally did. The view is really nice and it feels good to be away from all the people!
Just after we arrived, I spotted a great egret near the edge of the lake… can’t believe I got this shot of it catching a fish!
This shot of a cormorant really cracks me up…!!!
