Quick Walk at Arrowhead!

Here are some photos from a very quick walk at Arrowhead… I only walked for about 15 min and didn’t even make it all the way to the Arrow… had to turn around to get back to my car, but I did manage to see some regulars!

This was one of the first times I have easily identified a black-bellied plover. Identifying the little peeps and wintering shorebirds is easier said than done… but I am slowly getting the hang of it! This mallard also threw me off becuase its head looked blue in the sun.

I love getting these group photos of different birds together. They are so unassuming in a group, so funny!
